Hi everyone!!! My name is Kristy...Been vegetarian for couple of months now. Ive also eliminated milk and eggs but not cheese (not yet anyway).

Here is my problem....Ive been feeding RAW to my dogs for over 2 years now. For the last 2 months Ive been feeding them either a dehydrated version (packaged) or whats in the freezer. Today I had to purchase meat from the store. When I got home and started preparing it....the smell was making me sick. I checked the date on the package and its good for another 4 days. So makes me think...is it the meat or am I just overly sensitive to it now
I dont want to feed them something that could make them sick
So are there any vegetarian RAW feeders out there that can offer insight?

Is RAW a specific food? (not up to date with dog foods) FWIW, you can get vegetarian dog food too.

Oh gawd....

I can't stand to go near meat. It was pretty gradual, I continued to buy meat for my son after going veg for a while, now I couldn't do it.
I don't know about raw foods for dogs, and I'm not convinced about dogs being vegetarian or not, but I don't see continuing the raw foods for very long!
How about slowly switching to a good natural dog food?
