Hi everyone,<br><br><br><br>
Im a recently turned Pescatarian(just recently gave up chicken), which from reading this website I hope ya'll wont condemn me right off of the bat. My diet is 90% organic fruits, vegetables, grains etc with about 2-3 servings a week of wild Salmon and other non farm-raised fish with monitored populations. I know many will consider me a hypocrite, but I believe eating Fish is healthier and more natural than eating farm raised food as I believe fishing to be "natural" compared to farming animals which is a human concept.<br><br><br><br>

anyways I joined this forum because I am very open(even to giving up fish and going completely vegetarian or vegan, just right now I believe its not the healthiest way to go for my life style) and hope to discuss interesting topics and learn some good recipes from ya'll. And dont worry, i dont call myself anything, especially a Vegetarian(since im not) so hopefully ya'll will get your rep back at restaurants and it wont be such a ordeal when ordering food, :]

Welcome , a lot on the board slowly gave up meat and the chicken and fish were last , its quite normal .....if you do decide to give the salmon up you will know in your self<br><br><br><br>
so mean while jump in and have fun

Welcome. For me, being pescatarian was a (very long) transition phase before becoming vegetarian so I am glad you are open to that option. Welcome to VB! <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="/images/smilies/sunny.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title=":sunny:">

If you are sincere about considering going full vegetarian or vegan, then you are most welcome. <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="/images/smilies/hi.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title=":hi:"><br><br><br><br>
Please do keep in mind that this IS a vegetarian message board, and we would appreciate it if you would avoid making comments on this board about eating fish, unless you are discussing giving up eating it.

I ate fish about a month after giving up the other animals, and then veggieboards made me quit fish too, and now Im quitting eggs and dairy as well. So welcome!
