My name's Dana


I'm 17 and a recently turned vegan. It's not strict, because of our home situation, so I occasionally consume egg or milk. It's more a guideline and adapting to eating LOTS of fruit and veg. I follow the rule high carbs, high sugar (from fruit) and low salt/fat. I'm not raw vegan, but I would love to learn more about it to become more aware about nutrition and understanding what really is good for our bodies.

I've been pescetarian (on/off vegetarian) since I was 11, so I haven't eaten meat in a long time. It doesn't appeal to me in the slightest and I find fruit and veg much fresher and cleaner.

I look forward to getting to know some of you and learning more

It only gets better from here. You are on the right path it sounds. Just stay as strong and enjoy the challenges. Also make sure to read as much as you can on nutrition as you grow and learn more about being vegan-vegetarian!
