My name is Kayla and I'm from Wisconsin. I'm 18 yrs old. I should probably confess first that I am a Pescetarian rather than a full on Vegetarian. I feel though that when eating Vegetarian I get to try things I might not have otherwise tried. I just like the idea of meeting new people on here and also, for the love of food..! I just hope I don't sound like an idiot here.

I'm not really against becoming a full on Vegetarian, but I think once I'm not living with my Meat Eater parents it could happen. I've been pretty lucky though, with my parents compared to a lot of vegetarians issues with their parents. Back when I was thirteen or so my best friend had made the change in her diet and I eventually jumped on the bandwagon with it as well after educating myself over it more. I was surprised how easy it was for me personally. My two half sisters were vegetarians as well. (Weirdly enough, I'm the only one still following the diet lol) In the beginning though I sort of stuck to eating too many carbs and now I try and focus on balanced meals, since I did unfortunately gain a lot of weight since then. Since I started focusing balancing the meals more (and with the help of exercise) I lost almost 40 pounds. Wow, I think I got a little carried away with that whole answer, Hahaha oops
