Why do stores put security tags and theft-prevention devices over vital parts of product packaging, such as song lists on CDs? That really pisses me off.<br><br><br><br>
Also, just tonight I was looking for "cruelty free" deodorant and one brand has the ingredient list under this stupid peel-off sticker on the bottle. Yet it doesn't peel off very well..... i tried on several bottles before giving up. I just wanted to know the damn information about it.<br><br><br><br>
The only other cruelty free one was a womans deodorant, and while I wouldn't care about wearing a womans one this one's fragrance was WAYYYYY too feminine even for me ("waterberry" it was called).

that drives me nuts too. I am nuts about reading labels, even if I know what is in something sometimes I will read the label just for fun <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="/images/smilies/wink3.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title=";)"> When the ingredient/product list is coverd I get very cranky.<br><br><br><br>
Cranky=no fun

I can't stand that, when ingredients are obscured. I also hate when you buy a new piece of clohing and they put tags all on it so you practically destroy your new clothes getting them off. I don't like tags, especially underwear tags.

i get annoyed when ingredient labels are covered up/under "peel off" labels or what not too. This is especially bad with stuff like lip gloss - sometimes i'll stand there, trying to peel it off .. it won't peel off, and i end up getting dirty looks from employees because they think i'm either damaging it or i'm gonna steal it or whatever... grrrrr<br><br>
There should be a law about that - ingredients should be easy to read!

Speaking of clothes and labels, what about when new clothes have pins in them, and you don't find them all? Then you're putting the shirt (or even worse, pants) on and suddenly it's like "mother f'er!"<br><br><br><br>
And going back to the labels obscuring information, it seems to be common on computer game boxes; the label covers the damn system requirements. Surely someone puts them there on purpose just to annoy customers because you'd have to be pretty stupid to put them there by mistake.

i don't run into that problem too often but it is annoying. but like Peebs suggested, why not ask the staff if they have one in the backroom that hasn't been covered in stickers yet?<br><br><br><br>
actually what gets me lately is when a customer returns something at our store that they bought at a different location, and the staff there put the sale sticker on top of the barcode so we can't scan it without peeling it off first. stupid

I can't ask the staff because then they win with their little "let's place the sticker in a dastardly spot" game. By ripping it off myself it is I who wins.

Or how about when they pin those huge anti-theft plastic tag things on clothes so you can't figure out how well something fits because it's always in the way? Like when you when you try on pants it looks like you have a tail growing out of your ass, or something.

and when they attach the said anti-theft devices to clothes - how come they can't remember to take them off????? I have lost count of the amount of times that I have had to make a special trip to return to the store so they can take off the thingies. Now I scan the clothes right there at the cash register before I leave so as to avoid this problem. I have learned my lesson.

we're having a sidewalk sale at the mall right now, i decided to buy some body spray that was really cheap at the drug store, it was out on a table in the hallway, so i brought it inside the store to pay for it and the stupid alarm thingy goes off. they put stuff outside and don't take the anti-theft stickers off, duhhhhh.<br><br><br><br>
hate when those alarms go off, everyone looks at you like you stole something even though it's obvious that you're going <b>into</b> the store to pay for the damn thing.
