My name is Maire (My-ra). I was veggie a few years ago, but for various reasons stopped. I've recently started up again, so any encouragement would be great!!

I've been browsing around for the last few days and it seems like an awesome place. Can't wait to get more into it!

Great! I would love to eventually be vegan but for now, I just want to dump the meat! What are your plans?

Right now, I'm just trying to cut out the meat. I've never really liked meat anyway - the taste, smell, texture - GAG! So, it's not that hard of a transition . . .hopefully!

I don't drink milk; the only time I use it is on cereal which is rare. And eggs are just gross to me. My only problem would be giving up cheese - any kind, every kind. I'm an addict.

So, where I will ultimately end up in the grand scheme of things, who knows. I'm taking it one day at a time!

Sounds like a plan - since you're already not an egg and milk person - you will probably do very well transitioning back. I love cheese too. I could do without the eggs - just thinking about what they are and then eating them is just plain nasty! I don't have to have milk either but sometimes do also. If I can do lactoveg. for awhile I'll be happy. Not a tofu lover but will eat it if it's prepared for me like from a chinese restaurant.

I agree though, one day at a time................Let's do this!

Love the dancin' pineapple! Would love to see some dancin' grapes!

Yeah, the whole concept of eggs is nauseating. My friend used to try to get the little stringy white things out of them. She swore up and down that they were chicken sperm!!!! So, of course, wouldn't eat them. Too funny, but then, she's not the brightest girl!

To add those sayings, go to your profile and go under signatures. Then, just put what you want in. Hope that helps.
