I hope for two things. I hope that I will be heard out and that I can find the help I need here and I hope I won't get tossed out on my ear here as no I am not a vegetarian nor do I plan on becoming one (yeah I read that rule on your guidelines). I'm here because the person that I care for more than anyone else has recently become vegetarian and I'm trying to learn and understand this affliction... just a little humor there. But in all seriousness I am here to learn and understand. I'm not against vegetarianism but I love food and cooking. It is a real passion of mine. I'm willing to do many things. To try vegetarain cooking, to cut down on my meat consumption, but I don't think I'll ever really want to. For me I have no ethical dilemmas with eating meat, I would change some of my eating habits for health reasons, but taste is something that is really important to me.
Anyways, I'm going off a bit too much and am missing the whole point of the introduction. I'm a 26 year old male, originally from Florida but now living in El Paso, TX. I'm a military veteran and am currently pursuing my BA while working at KVIA, our local ABC station. I moved here to El Paso after leaving the Air Force to be with my girlfriend of now over 3 1/2 years.
So, hello everyone. It is a pleasure meeting you all. If you all don't want me here, no hard feelings, I'm sure I can find some place else.
