or at least offer another angle to consider....if you do not tell them how will you get the proper foods in your home? Bread, soy milk, vegan butter, faux meats, vitamins etc?

I like the option some one suggested of printing out some good info (that is after you have really done some reading on nutrition) and sit down with them and explain your plans. Not all parents are bullys and if you kind of messed up before, it is only natural for them to doubt you....but if you are smart and diplomatic rather than emotional you can get them on your team to help make sure that you have everything you need to make this work...including the proper vitamins
