If I would like to search for a thread title with 2+ words, how do I do that?<br><br><br><br>
For example: I typed in "vegan supplements" in the search box, but it searched for "vegan OR supplements." I'd like to search for "vegan AND supplements."

You can embrace it with quotes like this: "vegan supplements".<br><br>
Not sure how to search for posts that just contain both words (not necessarily connected like above), but I guess that's not really important anyway.

I tried that. It still took it as "vegan OR supplements."<br><br><br><br>
I also tried "vegan + supplements."

Are you going into Advanced search Options and searching "Thread Titles Only"<br><br><br><br>
Because otherwise it finds all the threads that contain both words "vegan" and "supplements" anywhere in any posts. The search box never does an "either or" search, it always does an "and" search, but it searchs the whole post rather than the title.<br><br><br><br>
But if you go into advanced search options and change it to "search titles only", it finds just three matches for vegan supplements:<br><br><br><br>
Organic Vegan Supplements: <a href="http://www.veggieboards.com/boards/showthread.php?t=51069&highlight=vegan+supplements" target="_blank">http://www.veggieboards.com/boards/s...an+supplements</a><br><br>

Ah, I give really bad advice lately. Anyway, I can't even search for "vegan supplements" because there seems to be some kind of bug in the software. (I guess if the search is to "heavy" or something, the browser just gives up and offers to me to save the php script...)

kpick: yes, I did advanced search, just like you suggested. Hmm, I wonder why it didn't work for me? Thank you so much for posting the links for me! <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="/images/smilies/smiley.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title=":)"><br><br><br><br>
IS: I got that error before, too.

The quotation mark approach <i>should</i> work when search the whole posts as well. I'm having trouble testing it though. Grrr.

Veggie, I'm not sure why it wasn't working for you, however I did some tests and found the search engine isn't working properly. Some times it would correctly search the Titles Only, but other times it searched whole posts despite having that option selected. Very strange.
