Welcome.

As long as you're here, got a weird dental question for you. Can the food you eat affect the plaque build up on one's teeth? The reason I ask is since changing my diet to whole food plant based (2 1/2 months ago), no meat, dairy, eggs, or processed food the plaque build up is a fraction of what it used to be. I'm 45 and never had a cavity, but I have had to go every 4 months to get my teeth cleaned. My wife thinks I'm crazy that changing my diet could do this btw, lol.

Thank you for the warm welcomes.

I do not mind answering dental questions.

Yes, a whole food diet would yield a decrease in plaque, especially in the absence of starches (fermentable carbohydrates)
