Hello,<br><br>
I've been a vegetarian in the making for about 5 years. I finally had my ahh haa moment a few weeks ago and have had zero problems so far.<br><br>
I'm a wife, mom of 3 grown children (two still at home), and work for my husband at the small business we own. My reasons for eliminating meat and as much as possible dairy/animal products from my diet is strictly for health reasons. Obesity (childhood and adult), high blood pressure and heart disease is out of control and I believe it is because people do not know how to eat. My family has not converted yet, but I think by cooking healthy alternatives, they will at least be thinking about what they eat everday. I love to cook and I'm looking forward to reading all the info available in this forum!

I started my veganism because of health reasons (meat made me feel sick as did lactose) and over the course of time I started to appreciate why veg*n care so darn much about the farming industry and now my reasons for being vegan also incorporats that.<br><br>
Whatever your choice, going veggie IS going to make you feel better and start you and your family on an incredible healthy journey!

I should note that my health is fine. I am not overweight nor do I have high blood pressure. Changing to a Vegetarian diet is a pro active thing for me. This is the most natural thing I have ever done in my life. I feel like I've been a closeted vegetarian who finally came out!
