When I started as a vegetarian I thought it would be hard. Over time it became easy then I very much enjoyed it. The doctor told my wife that she has to eat a little meat in her diet but, I don't eat any. The only hard part, in my view, is that some restaurant chains have pretty much nothing for a vegetarian to eat in their restaurants, like Applebees. For fast food it's super easy. Subway veggie and veggie patty are both great, Bojangles has veggie sides, Taco Bell has pinto burritos, etc, etc.. When I started I was working on a construction site and fast food was what I was eating every day for breakfast and lunch. I had McDonalds oatmeal and coffee for breakfast every day. I love their oatmeal and never got tired of it.
The think you have to watch out for is eating too many carbs. You can get fat on a vegetarian diet. Pig out on fruits and veggies and be happy. Also, grow a garden. I will never get tired of watching veggies grow and then living off of something I grew myself. Plus, the veggies you grow can be organic and they taste amazing.
Yea, factory farms are disturbing.
