I've been a vegetarian for just over two years, and have spent part of that as a vegan. Recently, I've been eating dairy again, but I'm DESPERATELY STRUGGLING to be vegan again because of my beliefs. I fell off the vegan wagon during my recent pregnancy (I have an 8 month old son). I'm still breastfeeding, so perhaps that's part of my problem with the dairy cravings. But, I want very much to embrace the vegan lifestyle again. So, I came on here in the hopes of finding encouragement/support and healthful eating tips.

You can breastfeed and be vegan...which is HARD! I'll admit, I ordered a few pizzas while I was taking care of my little one, and yes...there was cheese on it, but I just caved to pressure (which is totally easy when you've had no sleep and a colicky baby!) Don't feel guilty, you did what to needed to do, but now you're surrounded by people who will support whatever life style changes you're ready to make.
