i've been getting headaches on a daily basis the past week...i know i don't get even close to enough sleep and when i do sleep i don't hit actual sleep (right? since i remember my dreams in every little detail?), i've been a bit stressed about some things in my life at the moment..so maybe that's the cause.

it sucks, as normally i rarely ever get headaches, unless i'm around cig. smoke so i suppose i'm a bit concerned. should i be concerned?

and on another note...b12- if it says best before oct 02, does it really mean that? heh.

oh, man, i get headaches when i'm stressed and overtired, too, funkified.

make sure you're drinking lots of water throughout the day. and try to get more rest and do some stress-busting. i know you're already very active; how about some meditation? journaling? deep breathing exercises? or finding the exact cause of your stress and ripping it to shreds with your bare teeth?

I am chronically sleep-deprived, but I almost never get headaches from it. If I get a headache, it is from not drinking enough water during the day.

Not sure about the b 12. Things lose potency...

Do you have gas heat or radiator heat?? What about a CO detector? I know you just move in there and all...hey, keep your eyes peeled for black mold too. Is the carpet new? Could be something in your new place.

Yes you should be concerned because headache can interfere w/ your ability to function and ruin your life, even if they aren't a symptom of a known serious underlying disorder or injury.

What part of your head is focal point of the pain?

Try getting some more sleep. And when your in happy spirits you usually feel better. I think that you just might need to get more sleep and you will be fine. Usually when I have a headache I take a nap and I wake up feeling better. Some people need more sleep then others though. =/

i was trying to pinpoint the headaches, varies from top of the head to the eye headache i guess.

they are just recurring whenever...no specific time or place...had one all day yesterday..so far today so good...i finally gave in and took a couple advil last night.

i haven't really been home the last week and so hopefully being back now will ease some of the stress and maybe i can get some decent sleep.

"top of the head to the eye headache i guess."

Sounds like it could be frontal sinuses. Tho they are in forehead just above the eyes, pain can be felt there as well as referred to the top of head, temples, and in and around the eyes.

The paranasal sinuses usually vary considerably in size and shape from person to person.

The ethmoid sinus or sphenoid sinus -- located near the center of the face, an inch or so in -- pain can be felt as if coming from under the eyes, behind the eyes, or in or around the eyes.

man, i get a lot of headaches so i feel for ya. i get sinus headaches, headaches from cigarette smoke, when i'm dehydrated, when i'm not sleeping well, when i oversleep, if i take a nap i wake up with a headache and nausia (no idea why), and i get migraines from stage lights, strobe lights, bright sunlight, etc.

so yeah figure out what the cause is before you can fix it. sounds like lack of sleep. is it sharp or dull, throbbing or stabbing, etc. for my dull throbbing headaches a cold cloth on the forehead and eyes works wonders. works better than advil in my opinion, though sometimes i do both. also i find when i have a headache, if i lie down it gets like 10 times worse. so i'll sit up, head back with a cloth over my eyes, and sip ice water. usually does the trick within 10 minutes or so.

as for falling asleep, i agree with Kreeli, you should try some meditation and deep breathing. maybe you should cleanse and balance your chakras as well if you're stressed out. i do a combination every few nights, though i try to do it every night but just forget sometimes. i'm always more energetic at night than in the day, so if i have to go to bed early i find it really hard to fall asleep, even if i'm exhausted.

for the most part, yes, feeling better...it has come and gone though on a less than regular basis...nothing like it was previously though, so that's good.

Hmmm. I'm having this problem this week as well. It comes with a sore throat. But not in a virus way. It feels like a migraine and my throat and body both ache as if I'm getting sick but then... I don't get sick and it goes away. Mysterious... Allergies? Springtime maybe?

Try getting a complete sleep and free yourself from stress. Drink also a lot of water and lastly consult to your doctor for further medication. :)
