Yesterday I tried vegetable sushi from a nice restraunt in my area. I never thought in a million years I would eat sushi. It was delicious!

Sushi is one my favourite foods! If they have a yam tempura roll, try that one!

I haven't tried it yet, but a vegan burger restaurant I pass on my way to and from work just started selling vegan soft serve! I cannot wait to get some! They change the flavour every week!

I tried Nacho Mom's Ultimate Vegan Queso pretty recently. It's delicious and low in calories. I ordered a case from my local grocery store and it was only $3.50 a jar. Yum Yum.

Shirataki noodles - they are wonderful in Asian dishes and have virtually no calories. I also use them (the linguini size) when I make vegan fettuccine Alfredo.

I just had hummus for the first time. I put some on a wrap w/spinach, tomatoes, onions and some chunks of portabella mushrooms

I've tried them a couple of times. I had a hard time getting past the weird, fishy smell they have when you take them out of the package.

You should rinse them and par-boil for 3-5 minutes. I also think you can microwave them for a minute or so. The smell goes away, promise.

And then you're left with the wonderful gummy rubbery texture.

I recently tried mock duck for the first time at a thai restaurant. I was always freaked out about trying it at restaurants or buying it from asian markets because it's so authentic looking. It was surprisingly good and I'm glad that I finally decided to give it a shot. I'm a huge seitan lover though so I shouldn't be too shocked.

I also tried kiwi for the first time. I think it was starting to go bad though.
