Well, have you? Just curious as to how many have. Feel free to say more if you want, but if you want to be anonymous here about being on the personals site that's cool too. If you have, did the very pink highlight over the word "personals" inspire you to?

The voices told me to avoid the personals link. Especially because it's pink.

I've been married for 32 years, I didn't think it would be appropriate!

I'm not ready to be posting an ad. I do like to browse ads. However, I usually stop when I get to the guy named alwayshorny1971.

Hehe, I will admit that I actually did post one. The little voices in my head said, "hey, what the heck have you got to lose?" If nothing else it will be entertaining.

No I didn't post one. Mr. Meatless wouldn't be too keen on that.

I would but somehow I doubt my husband would find it as amusing as I would

I have a profile on match.com, but then realized I can't actually connect with anyone unless I pay the outrageous monthly fees, so forget about that.

If I was a couple notches to the left on the Kinsey scale I might take that chance, but there aren't many m4m ads on any of the dating sites so the possibilities are really narrowed down.

Nope. I've yet to run into anyone actually interesting through posting an ad on a dating site.

Back in the day, before I realized the dating sites are funded partly through ads and partly through member payments, I put my AIM screenname in my eHarmony profile. Now, the site said such things are prohibited, and each newly-created or -updated profile would be reviewed over the next few days. *drumroll please* My profile was up for over a year before I got an email from the admin saying my account had been deleted for violating their rules.

I just had to chuckle. It took them a year? Maybe the admins there don't actually read the newly-created and -updated profiles.

In any case, I wouldn't put an alternate method of contact in a dating site profile now if the site prohibited it.

There's a pretty good gay-boy population on Ok Cupid, and it's free.
