Have you ever seen a paranormal phenomenon? Personally, I have not. I have watched a few episodes of Paranormal Witness on Syfy and the accounts sound pretty convincing even though I don't believe in that stuff.

I have, which is why I'm a Pagan.

From my childhood on, I could always see and feel things that other people couldn't see or feel. For instances, I could make heat appear around my hands and shape it into a ball which I could throw from one hand to another. I once told my dad about that and he didn't believe me so he asked me to put the ball on his head. I did and he exclaimed; flabbergasted ''wow, it's like you're putting a hot egg on my head!'' since then, he has always believed me even though he's sceptical of anything paranormal.

It's not like I see those things all the time, I need to focus to get it done but I can get into a mental state that allows me to experience these things. Right now I am training to become a professional energy healer, and am also working in a Wicca study group. I feel my whole life has directed me to this path, and it's a very big part of who I am. What has been seen, cannot be unseen

Yes I saw a ghost (I guess) years ago rocking in a chair in my baby's room. : 0 When we moved years later, I left the rocker in the room. I had bought it second hand.

Some weird stuff happens at night in the hospital where I work, especially the old NICU. :0

Seen or experienced? I've never seen a ghost.

However, I have experienced some weird activity--whether paranormal or not.

One night I had to spend the night at a really old hotel in Northern Pennsylvania, since we were spending a few days in the field for work. I don't normally get the jitters or weird feelings when in old, weird looking places, but as soon as I stepped into the room, I got a really odd feeling that I wasn't alone. Then a feeling of dread came over me. I shook it off with the reason that it had been a long day in the field (14+ hours). I went to sleep. I woke up to hear the faucet running in the bathroom. I got up, looked in the bathroom, and the water was not running. I laid back down. As soon as I closed my eyes, I heard the water running again. I got up, went into the bathroom, and there was a little more than a trickle of water coming out of the faucet. I turned it off and laid back down. As soon as I closed my eyes, I heard the toilet flush. I then turned the TV on very loudly and tried to get some sleep. A coworker that was in a different room heard loud footsteps all night long going up and down the hallway. He looked in the hallway several times but did not see anyone. Neither of us slept well.

I'm not sure how to vote.

I don't believe in ghosts, god, souls, etc, but I have witnessed some things that I can't explain. That doesn't mean they aren't explainable, and I'm sure there are scientific explanations for what I saw, I just don't know what they could be. I think that the majority of incidences that people deem as "paranormal" are not.

I've seen a ghost throw up. It was relatively harmless: his shimmering shape looked sick, so I gave him a bucket, he threw up in the bucket, and I didn't have to clean it afterwards since the vomit was immaterial because it came out of the ghost's body.

Voted no, because paranormal is the wrong word. There is certainly a hidden side to things, and I've been aware of some of it (telepathy, sometimes quite annoying). Don't dismiss the occult just because science doesn't have an answer, it may simply be too early to try and prove these things (a thousand years ago we couldn't prove the existence of radio waves, now we can).

What makes you think that just because you see these things they're actually there, or wouldn't have a rational explanation if you bothered to attempt to give them one? What say you?

I've never seen anything and don't believe in ghosts or the paranormal. I don't think that all the people who claim they've seen something like this are lying, but I'm very skeptical about what it is they're seeing or think they're seeing. Like Sequoia, I think that there's scientific explanations for these things that just haven't been discovered yet.

Some weird things happen in hospitals indeed. I won't go into detail though.

I've seen things before, but I'm 99% sure they were hallucinations caused by stress and lack of sleep. I've also had prophetic dreams before that were kind of creepy but I have no clue what it means or what caused it or if it was all a coincidence. Mental illness runs in my family and I've seen how easily people's brains can go haywire under the right conditions, I don't like jumping to conclusions without facts.

For one, I'm not the only one that sees them. In a group I work with for my training, we all experience the same kind of visions and energy. And like I said, my dad for instance has experienced what I feel even though he doesn't believe in it.

Then again, maybe me and my teachers all suffer from the same mental illness, but I don't think so as we function perfectly in every day life and don't suffer from any psychiatric symptoms.

There is no scientific ''proof'' for these things, the proof is only in the experience. If you never experienced anything like this, you might not accept my answer.

Do dreams that tell you what is going to happen count as paranormal?( i coukdnt think of the right word) but i have had dreams of such things as people dieing and stuff. But its always off alittle. I dreamt that my grandpa had died and woke up in tears and 3 days later i found out my grandmother had passssd away from cancer( i didnt even mnow she was sick because she lived in wyoming and i was young and no one wanted to tell me that she was sick).
Also i believe i have seen 2 ghosts. It was night time when i saw both of them so itncouldve been hallucinations or something but i was wide Awake for both of them.
