I do really hate them.

We are Vegetarian but we follow the Ornish diet mostly [vegetarian option] which is an extremely low fat diet for the reversal of heart disease.

Why? Because the wife has it and I am keeping her company. We have been on this for over two years. When she started they said she couldn't have surgery she was so bad. This spring they said they could operate if needed. It seems it works.

I am host on a another site in the Vegetarian Forum. It is a very small part of the site which is a recipe database. I also float a bit to Low Fat forum. I keep the same name there if anyone recognizes the handle.

I figure we need all the resources we can get. There are times I have been stumped and needed to research a topic. It helps me learn.

Real Life? I'm a Prof in Religious Studies [Ancient Med when you get to Alexander it is way to modern for me] and an Auctioneer among other things. Or see the website link on my profile. Saves typing.

Thank you. It's taught me to do things one day at time.

And the low fat diet Vegetarian diet didn't hurt me either.. I, ahem.. lost 95 pounds. Not that I was fat mind you. I do feel better.

Her Cholesterol went from 285 to 109 and she told me "you know I don't miss the old diet at all. I like being a Vegetarian. I wish I had done this sooner" the other day.
