The game has been out for a while now. I haven't played it because my computer is below the minum specs, but I recently heard it's fairly scaleable. So, I'm gooing to download the demo

So what do you think of it vs. Civ 4? Do you like the changes?

Thanks,

Civ 5 is better than Civ 4 in my opinion, though to be honest I would probably still prefer Civ 3 if I hadn't already played the hell out of it.

Been a Civ fan from the very first one.

I am a Civ 5 addict! It is visually better than Civ 4 and I think the Social Policies in exchange for the government civics is a good change. I also think the combat is much better. They completely removed religion from the game, which I kind of miss as I like how it influenced relationships between leaders. It also can run very slow at later points in the game. But I definitely think you should get Civ 5

the end of the stack of doom was a big improvement. combat is not boring now but it's also a little bit too easy against the AI. i like this game a lot but it takes a long time to play.
