Today was our first really Spring like day here in NE OH. It was also March 15th the day the buzzards return to Hinckley, OH. People gather there every year to spot some buzzards, and they come every year.

Anyone else have any spring changes? Getting psyched up?

Thalia,

I had an AWESOME day weather-wise!!! Yes, NE Ohio really started tasting Spring today. I was outside almost all day, and I loved it! Now I'm thanking the annoying manager for not scheduling me to work all day today.

I did so many different, miscellaneous things that it would be hard to tell you everything I enjoyed, but it was fun and somewhat relaxing. And now I get to go sleep on sheets that smell glorious from being line-dried this afternoon.

saw and heard lots of geese returning from down south today, while i was standing outside waiting for the spca truck

but geese are usually the first indication, and then we'll start seeing robins. there've also been a lot of crows around the house lately, i haven't seen too many over the winter

Yesterday there was a dog fox looking at my hens, standing about 6 foot away licking his lips and thing "chicken takeaway for the family" Agh.

Last night there was a badger in my back yard rummaging in the flower beds for slugs and hedgehogs. I looked out the window and he was arms reach from me.

And the hyacinths are flowering.
