In the US, the Wrigley's stick gums are vegan. Some of the "crunchy shell" ones are too, but I'm failing to recall which. Same with Trident. I think Casein was the offending ingredient in the hardshell varieties, but I generally think they're gross, so I didn't pay close attention when reading about it. <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="/images/smilies/grin.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="">
I dunno, I steer clear of all those hardshell/liquid center gums, becasue a lot of them seem to have gelatin. It sucks, too, because it's so common for people to just offer you gum, and you don't have a chance to check the ingredients without making a scene, and yet conventional wisdom says, "Take the gum. They're trying to tell you your breath stinks!" So I say <i>No, thanks</i>, and then reach for one of my Penguins.
