Just a wee thread to see if I can find anybody else who plays GW2? All of my friends are still heavily into Warcraft and I can't convince them to take a break from their raiding schedules to explore Tyria with me.

I left WoW a few months ago for a variety of reasons and just recently started playing GW2, and I LOVE it.

So...anybody? Hello?

But, I play video games... Quite a lot actually.

I've played WoW for a short while though I wasn't prepared to spend money each month to be able to play it.

I think there's new DLC coming out for Guild Wars 2 soon? Heart of Thorns, not looked a lot at it but I'm happy there's something new being released for the game.

Since this is something I really enjoy, I'd like to say that I play a lot as well, both Guild Wars2 and most of Blizzard's games. If anyone would like to trade screen names, it might be fun to play with others from the forum.

Not in this guild anymore but I run a vegan Steam group of over 700 members. It's just called Vegan. A handful of us use the Discord* server that I set up for the group. We're trying to maintain a safe space environment so that everyone can feel comfortable joining us.

We're also trying to start a new guild in GW2 and we're still deciding on a name. Currently, we have Where Do We Get Our Protein [VGN] on hold because we're into a little derisive humor so this may be the name we're keeping. If you'd like to join us, feel free to post here or toss me a private message. I can send out guild invites and/or PM our Discord information.

Since the GW2 Halloween event is starting today, I believe, we're likely going to be participating in those events together.

*Note: Discord is a text and voice chat for gamers but you don't need to be a gamer to join us.

**Another note: You don't need to be vegan to join the Steam group or Discord server, you just need to be curious about or accepting of veganism! The majority of us on Discord are vegan but since the group is meant to be about community and education, everyone is welcome.
