i was wondering how do you guys make your favorite grilled veggie sandwich? what goes in it and what the seasoning is, etc? thanks

I don't really have a favorite combination, but here are somethings I put in mine:<br><br><br><br>
Grilled zucchini<br><br>
Grilled yellow squash<br><br>
Grilled eggplant<br><br>
Grillled portabella mushroom<br><br>
Grilled bell peppers<br><br>
Grilled onions<br><br>
Cheese or uncheese of choice<br><br><br><br>
Sometimes I marinate the veggies (usually with a bottled salad dressing), sometimes they just get salt and pepper. They usually go on a sub roll or in a wrap--regular sandwich bread doesn't seem to hold them well. The bread gets toasted and the wrap gets warmed up.

Roasted red peppers, diced tomatoes, sliced fresh avocado, topped with vegan montery jack cheese and served on hemp seed bread with a side dish of a yummy sauce for dipping or drizzling. (Btw, sandwich is grilled or put under broiler until cheese melts.)<br><br><br><br><img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="/images/smilies/lick.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title=":lick:"><br><br><br><br>
I miss this. Haven't been able to have it in a few months, now. *sigh*

Roasted red peppers, caramalised onions, artichokes, spinach, sundried tomatos, and avacado on a really heavy, grainy organic bread.

Portobello 'shrooms, red peppers, fat asparagus, eggplant, zucchini, Vidalia onion, artichoke, tomato (especially green). Serve on baguette, smeared with mixture of mayo and smashed roasted garlic; salt/pepper to taste. Too much joy!
