What's up?
Been vegan for over a month now, feeling great, and came aboard here to learn from fellow vegans.
Looking forward to some good (and humorous) discussion about our chosen lifestyle.

Woot woot!

Loving all the new vegan and veggies joining up x

Welcome to the forum veg-head :D
Thank you.
I dreamed that I was eating a steak sandwich last night.
Was relieved when I woke up and realized that it was only a dream.
On the bright side, my dog seems to like me better these days, and a squirrel came right up to me outside of my workplace the other day.
Maybe they know.......

I think they do :)

It might sound all airy-fairy, hippy-dippy stuff but I genuinely think animals know if you are a flesh-eater.

I've also noticed a difference in animal responses, albeit fairly subtle, which I think is based on their finely tuned sense of smell. Basically the herbivores know you aren't a predator and the carnivores know you won't challenge them for their meat.

Win-win all round :D

It's very possible, no doubt.
There's lots that we don't know about animals.
My feeling is that they're way smarter than most humans give them credit for.

Mosquitoes hardly bite me anymore (vegan 10 years). I don't know why; I live in Florida where the skeeters are big and mean, but I can be in a crowd of people slapping and scratching and not one bite. Some people call mosquitoes Florida's state bird.
Hey Veg-head! I'm right near you in Philadelphia :D Welcome to veggie board!
I'm in Northeast Philly (Philmont Ave.) every Sunday for church.
Thanks for the welcome.
