Hey, I really need some good Green Bean/Pea Pod recipes, because I just bought a bunch of fresh ones from a Farmer's market...I was hoping to find a Green Bean recipe with spice. Or a spicey sauce...something with heat. I had a Green Bean dish at a Chinese restaurant and it was delish...it had a garlicy/hot spicey coating on the outside. Anyone know how to re-create it?

I grow green beans every summer, and I always end up with way way more than I can consume (I try though!). I use them in stir-fry, mince them fine and add them to just about anytning I can think of (bread dough, rice, any grain I'm cooking), I put them in soups/stews. You can pickle them (and if you are lazy to do that - just blanch some and toss them in your pickle jar). They are good marinated with vinaigrette and onion (or any other stuff like olives/tomato/etc).

Pretty much the same thing with Snow peas (though I don't grow them - so I never have an overstock *s*)
