LOL....

My son is doing a technical writing piece and presentation and he has decided he wants to teach his class how to plant and raise tomatoes organically.

We are going with organic tomato seedlings in compostable containers using organic soil and fertilizer, and organic soap spray to control pests.

If we are missing anything or you have a suggestion, we would love to hear it!

Thanks

we usually plant marigolds around the tomatoes and other veggies because they deter critters

also planting some basil near the tomatoes or in the same pot helps both the tomatoes and basil grow better (they like eachother)

if you haven't already set it up, you will need to stake, cage or tie the tomatoes (unless they are cherry or pear)
