haha you must have missed my thread in the New to Vegetarianism Forum. Take a gander at this: http://www.veggieboards.com/boards/s...ad.php?t=52818
Many Japanese restaurants in New York City serve tofu teriyaki, vegetarian California rolls and lots of delicious vegan sides (like seaweed salad, sauteed spinach, edamame -- betcha can't eat just one! -- and miso soup. Order a bunch of appetizers and a veggie California roll, or ask for any major entree prepared with tofu instead of the regular "main ingredient." Good luck!
make sure when you order miso soup that you specify that you want it vegetarian. Otherwise they will likely use bonito flakes in it. The Japanese restaurant I like to go to here will gladly make it fresh and veggie for me. YUMMMilicious!!
