and neither do the mapquest maps, unless I'm in printer-friendly mode. I can't figure out why.

I'm using Windows XP, my browser is Firefox Mozilla Community Edition version 2.0a3. I don't have IE on this computer, so I don't know if it will work on that. The google maps site suggested I clear my cache, and I did, but that didn't help.

Any ideas?

Sure.

Instead of loading the map, there is a gray area. If I have directions, for example, I can see smaller, empty gray boxes on the map, as though icons were supposed to load and failed. I can click on these and it'll give me information, like what the address is. I can even click, hold and move something around, it looks like a big blob of darker gray pixels.

If I zoom in and out with the mouse wheel, I can see red pixels come up showing that I'm zooming in or out, but I can't see the map or any icons. It doesn't work on any settings, it's always just gray.

I did, but I must have missed that part. Anyway, I followed those instructions, and it works now.
