Yeah, someone else mentioned it but I don't remember what thread it was... My shelter, Pet Refuge, is now on the list. <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="/images/smilies/carrot.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title=":vebo:"><br><br><br><br>
Although Goodsearch will only cut your charity a check if they've accumulated 10,000 searches ($100), and they only pay out annually.<br><br><br><br>
You can change the default search engine in Firefox from Google to Goodseach by typing in about:config and changing the "browser.search.defaulturl" value to "<a href="http://www.goodsearch.com/Search.aspx?Keywords=" target="_blank">http://www.goodsearch.com/Search.aspx?Keywords=</a>"<br><br>
And there's a button on their website to add them to the search bar list.<br><br><br><br>

But PETA and Farm Sanctuary are both on the list, if you want something more Veggie oriented.

I looked all over for an option, but apparently am overlooking it? By default search engine, I mean the one that is used when you highlight a word and right click and say "search web for".

No, I use a combination of 4 frequently visited websites as my browser home page.<br><br><br><br>
But if I highlight something and select "search the web" the default search engine it used to use was google. The only place I saw to change that was in the about:config file.
