Not sure where to post this, figured this was my best bet.

Anyway, my dad wanted me to ask you all if any of you have tried getting rid of mice using cotton balls dabbed w/peppermint oil. His friends camper has mice & he's trying to get rid of them & heard this works. He's trying it now, but I'm not sure how long it takes to get them gone.

Anybody tried this? Was it successful? How long does it take to work?

Thanks!

I haven't tried that. We did have some mice inside during the winter but we caught them in live traps and took them out to a sheltered place outside and fed them.

Apparently there is some item you can buy that makes a high pitched sound that humans can't hear but irritates the mice and encourages them to go somewhere else.

I've heard of that too, but have no idea if it works. There was another thread about humane mouse traps in which I asked about this product to get rid of moles, but I didn't get an answer.

http://www.jerrybaker.com/index.asp?...OD&ProdID=1473
