Found this website for prices of gasoline and heating fuels for USA and Canada...Just pump in your zip code and check it out..Currently says the highest price is $2.84 in Sacramento, CA. Iran has said they won't raise production when there is war (a silent no to war), so prices will go up.<br><br><br><br>
(2.27 is aprox. 50% of the european price)

I feel bad for people who are on a tight budget and don't use more gas than they need to. But I also get a special little glee when gas prices go up, at least in the sense that it's time for the drivers of fuel efficient cars to shine. The bright side is that people may conserve, and those contemplating a new vehicle may opt for a more efficient vehicle.

I wish it were more practical for me not to use any gas. If only I could afford to live on campus at my school and work on campus... but then I'd have to eat at the cafeteria, and that's just not worth it.

BTW the price rise is not solely due to "war" talk. The supply shock caused by Venezuela and the colder than expected winter have also been factors.<br><br><br><br>
US prices are similar to the spring/summer of 2000.

It went up $1 a barrel when that oil ship blew up recently. Once they'd ruled out terrorist limpet mines did they ever say what caused that to happen?
