1 large clove garlic, minced

½ tsp. salt

Place the broccoli on a dinner plate. Sprinkle 1/3 cup ground pine nuts on top.

This is also delicious over zucchini noodles.

Months later I see this....

It is more like a marinated broccoli dish. Use a slotted spoon when serving the dish and it won't be as oily. It really is good! I like it in the summer when I need to fill up and want a cold salad dish.

To me, a good olive oil does not equate with oily. Depending on the origin of the olives, the flavor can vary quite a bit. Sounds like a good dish.

I'd like it with a little lemon juice squeezed on top.

We have a similar dish we make that adds a little hot pepper, ginger and tamari, along with a little sweetener (usually honey or blended dates)

Sometimes we'll throw caution to the wind and add some carrots, pineapple and some red peppers, for kind of a stir fry kind of feeling... except we enjoy it raw.

I too have a big old head in the fridge... and it's calling me now.

but alsosounds like a recipe for gas :-(

Do you do anything to help counteract those effects or do you not have a problem with broccoli and garlic?

Where is the Garlic in the ingredient list?
Right there in the recipe? Did you read it? It's the third ingredient after broccoli and olive oil.
