ETA update: What do you find funny that you can't believe other people don't?

This is a sister thread to Unfunny funny. In that thread it's things you find funny that you can't believe other people do find amusing. This is the opposite of that.

What do you find so incredibly funny that, when you hear someone doesn't like it, your first instinct is to browbeat them into submission until they agree with you?

Here's a couple of shows that I can't believe people don't find funny:

For me it's Red Dwarf (not the later series though). Clever sci-fi plots mixed with great humor and great performances from the actors. I love this show.

Blackadder (not the first series so much); Richard Curtis + Ben Elton + Rowan Atkinson et al = pure funny.

The Office (UK): Ricky Gervais is brilliant. The Extras wasn't as good as The Office by any means, but Ricky's just so darn compelling to watch.

The Office (US): I started off not liking this; the first episode contained too much that I was familiar with from the UK version. But after seeing The 30-Year-Old Virgin and loving it, I thought I'd tune in again. Low and behold, Steve Carell is funny (just in a different way than Ricky) they seemed to be doing their own thing with it. Now it's probably the best American comedy on TV. Which ain't saying much.

ETA: This can be a TV show, movie, person, situation, joke...anything that you find funny but maybe some other people don't. Like, I find marionettes inherently funny. When I saw the trailer for Team America World Police I was killing myself whereas the two guys I was with sat in silence not finding it the least bit funny. Needless to say I didn't go see the actual movie with dem two b!tches.

The Royle Family - although I think most of the time you have to be either English or have pommie parents like me to find it funny and understand the subtleties in the script.

Frasier - I have mixed feelings here, because occasionally, it really sucked. When it was good though, it was excellent. The "sibling rivalry" episodes are my favorites, I think. It gets a few points too for having a wonderful, sublime series finale.

Actually, there seem to be a lot of TV shows that fall in that category..good, but not consistently so. MASH, Mad About You, Friends, The Simpsons, WKRP in Cincinnati...all of these had occasional moments of brilliance, but much banality as well.
I also enjoyed Newsradio, but it doesn't stick out in my mind as Funny Funny. There were bits and pieces I found hilarious, but nothing really comes to mind as fall on the floor laughing hilarious for me.

Frasier did have some stinkers, but I'd say that overall it was more hilarious than non-hilarious.

I'd forgotten about WKRP and used to love that show. I thought that MASH was almost always excellent, but since it had dramatic moments it wasn't always funny funny.

I think I would have put Seinfeld into my list, but I've seen the shows too often recently so they've lost their charm. Overall, I think it had some of my favorite TV moments in it. Then again it also had agrivatingly stupid situations that I didn't even want to see play out.
I can't believe anybody doesn't think Monty Python or Woody Allen (at least his classic earlier films) are funny. I don't want to know such people.

My favourites, in no particular order:

Red Green (CA) - Duct tape has never been funnier. Neither has the person so obsessed with it.

Talking To Americans/This Hour Has 22 Minutes (CA) - Sometimes "reality" is stranger than fiction. And it's funnier, too.

Red Dwarf (UK) - The early stuff and nothing but the early stuff.

Chef (UK) - Laugh out loud funny - even the 3rd season stuff (first season was the funniest, though).

Brilliant! (UK) - They didn't play this one very long after I discovered it, but I loved it while it lasted.

Little Britain (UK) - Too. Freakin'. Funny. Nuff said.

Vicar of Dibley (UK) - I love just about anything that Dawn French does, but this show is pee yourself hilarious!

French & Saunders (UK) - Dawn French + Jennifer Saunders = better wear some Depends cause you're gonna need them watching this show.

Ab Fab - A French & Saunders creation that has life of its own - and what a life it is, dahling!

That's all I can think of for now.

Howard Stern!!!!!

I love Howard - Although I admit the porn stars and raunchy talk and fart jokes are rarely funny. What is funny is the way he interacts with others on the show - his comments on the news and social issues and interviews with celebrities. His old TV show back on WOR in the early 90's was the funnest.thing.ever.

Bevis and Butthead crack me up.

Kevin Smith always makes me laugh (esp. Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back)

Am I the only 30-something female falling for all this teenage boy humor?

I agree with Texasspice on Howard Stern,im completely addicted to it.Only im a huge fan of his new sirius show.I love Sal and Richard with their phony phone calls.Everyone i know cant stand his show though.

I think Andrew Dice Clay is the greatest stand up comedian of all time, but rarely do i find anyone else who likes him.I could listen to "The Day The Laughter Died" part 1 and 2 on a continuous loop all day.
To Pixelle- Did you see the recent one-off episode? If not, make sure you do when you get the chance. Did anyone else see it?
I'd have to say Meet The Fockers. How come everyone else I talk to hates it?

Is that show still on? I thought it got cancelled. I don't watch tv anymore, so I'm a little out of the loop. Anway, I only saw a few episodes, but I really liked it.

So, things I think are funny and I can't believe that there are weirdos out there who don't:

-The Life Aquatic With Steve Zissou

-The Wedding Singer

-Envy

-Multiplicity

-Seinfeld

-Friends

-Northern Exposure

-Arrested Development

I <3 Hucabees...my sister and I argue about this every time it's mentioned.

<<hate hate hated it. The most redeeming quality was the appearance of Jude Law, which allowed me to distract myself from the mundanity (just made that up) of the film, by envisioning various scenarios
heh

I've only read three of his books, most recently Cat's Cradle about six months ago. There are people who don't find his writing amusing???

That's right. Aren't we talking about the opposite here? So shouldn't it be funny unfunny (things people don't think is funny but you do)?
