Post fun facts here!

Water does not conduct electricity - H2O is not an ion and contains no ions in its pure form. However, the ions that are present in most water samples today by the process of contamination from pipes or the air or other fluids cause it to conduct electricity. So, theoretically, one could jump into a swimming pool of pure water while holding a toaster and not get electrocuted (but this is still impossible because of the ions present on your skin that would immediately pollute the water and cause it to conduct an electrical current).

The color pink does not exist. It is a placeholder between the two ends of the color spectrum created by confusion in our brain, so we process the unknown wavelengths with a color approximately between violet and red.

If evolution worked exactly the way Darwin said it would, there would be no gays. They would all have died out a long time ago.

On the note of the above fact, Birdo from the Mario series is transgendered, or at least originally was (Nintendo apparently denies the fact). This makes Yoshi gay or at least very accepting, since many games portray the two as being in a relationship.

Did you know? Hippo's sweat is pink. (High-five if you get the reference)

I just learned this watching My Cat From Hell on Animal Planet last night.

A cat's brain contains about 300 million neurons while a dog's brain contains about 160 million neurons. The number of neurons in the brain corresponds to the animal's degree of intelligence.

(I still think dogs are pretty smart - but cats are smarter.)

Plants also hate the color green. They get less energy for photosynthesis from its wavelength, so they reject it, hence why they appear green because the rejected light hits our eyes.

Suspenders got their name from one Lehalt Suspenderiticus of ancient Rome. He is famous to this day for his works of childrens' fiction involving a lonely priestess of Mars who went by the name Chingy.
