That time.. summer... great time for fresh vegetables here in Northern California. I was wondering if anyone has successfully frozen fresh vegetables, and if they can tell me which ones do well. I do have a food sealer that is a godsend for me. I am just on a limited budget, and want to take advantage of the food markets that will be popping up on the streets soon.

Here is a link that will give you some basic info on several types of vegetables for freezing.

http://www.gardenguides.com/TipsandT...s/freezing.htm

Basically most can be frozen - and blanching is important.

I take advantage of sales too - and freeze (or dehydrate) really good deals. I wish Melon froze well - we regularly have melon on sale here.
