They look different, they act different, and sometimes they smell different, but different cultures can be deliciously amazing. So appreciate 'em.

I appreciate TJ, he's Canadian, the first real Canadian I've ever known and he does not disappoint.

Oh, and the Japanese pop group Pizzicato Five. They have some fantastic songs.

Oh, I also like French bread, Chinese food, and Madagascar hissing cockroaches.

Your turn.

I'm not really foreign. I'm just a state kiddie corner. Unless you're saying your immune system would recognize me as a foreign body and proceed to attack me should I enter your bloodstream. But that's some pretty odd appreciation.

Hehe, my dog used to snort. She was also obsessed with licking her, um, nether regions.

I don't know, but the name of the song is "Twiggy Twiggy Twiggy Versus James Bond".

Who is TJ btw?
:giggles:

A bald Canadian Vegan obsessed with, among other things, hummus.

You're Norwegian? Wow. Anyway, I have a question about Norwegians. Are they above average height? Because I know this Norwegian who is so tall he doesn't fit through doorways.

*gets mushy and gushy*

It's a world of laughter, a world of tears

It's a world of hopes and a world of fears

There's so much that we share

That it's time we're aware

It's a small world after all.

CHORUS:

It's a small world after all

It's a small world after all

It's a small world after all

It's a small, small world.

There is just one moon and one golden sun

And a smile means friendship to everyone.

Though the mountains divide

And the oceans are wide

It's a small world after all.

(chorus)

Indian Summer is Norwegian, and he is a giant.

I find American culture very intriguing, although the culture of my own country is already heavily influenced by it.

But not a troll I hope (I wanted to make sure since trolls are an integral part of Norwegian mythology).

I find all cultures fascinating.

<<<< anthropology geek

As a Canadian, I love comparisons of Canada and the US, as well as all the little subcultures embedded into every other one.

I don't know if subcultures count as foreign, but, I just had to throw that in.

I am currently especially appreciating:

Japanese culture; thank you for miso and avocado kappa rolls

Greek culture; thank you for belly dancing, philosophy and dolmades

Irish culture; thank you for love of life and beer.

South African culture; thank you for that booty shakin' funk dance I'm learning

and Jamaican culture; for Bob Marley and for my wonderful man.
