My drugstore was sold out of my usual wax, so I picked up Parissa wax strips for bikini area & face. I'm very impressed. They're extremely easy to use and they appear to be vegetarian, if not vegan. I'm not connected to the company in any way. Just thought I'd pass this along.

I've got a couple different boxes of their wax strips lying around. My boyfriend was supposed to help me out with an area I can't do myself... comfortably - but he's chickened out cuz he's never done it before, doesn't want to screw it up, or hurt me in the process. So I'm off to book an appointment at an Aveda spa to get it done... the things we do... But I concur, they are very good products, and to the best of my knowledge very veg!

I liked the epilator. I could only use it in certain areas. I've never waxed or been waxed. I'm getting laser hair removal treatments now. WOOHOO! 1 session down, 5 to go..in about a year i'll be hair free for-ev-er. I hate body hair.

The epilator does work better in certain spots - like areas that were recently waxed several times in a row. The thing still won't work on my legs since they're such a pain to wax...

It's definitely going to be worth the money. Even after the first session, after the hairs fell out, I had to shave like once a week for like two months, I was smooth all the time. Now the next cycle of hair is noticibly growing in. My next session is on Aug 14, so..it's about that time!

I only used the epilator on my arms and armpits. I tried on my legs, but it just hurt too much in some spots; and I have a pretty huge pain tolerance. Like I said, I've never been waxed, so those hairs were in there good! The ladies at the laser center were amazed at how I took it all like a man () and only whined a little bit during the brazilian lasering.

I notice the more I wax/epilate, the less it hurts. At this point, in the areas where I regularly use it, it's more of a satisying "yank" than any kind of pain.

I'd use the epilator on my legs but since the hairs haven't been waxed, they're in there good and just break off *and* it hurts. Might as well shave

As for the lasering, I am very jealous
