I've never had it before and really hope I don't get it now. Last night I found a Tofurky sausage in the fridge that I forgot I had. I looked and smelled fine so I ate it. Later I decided to check out their site just to see if they had any recommendations on how long their products were good for after opening. They said in optimal conditions 3-4 days should be "safe". This was closer to 3 weeks. Then I read all this stuff about tofu and botulism and my hypochondriac brain goes into overdrive. Now I realize they are talking about raw or fermented tofu but still....makes me nervous.

I don't have any experience with food poisoning but I'm fairly certain that it usually hits you within a couple hours after eating the food in question. If you are still okay I would say you're safe! Good luck! <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="/images/smilies/smiley.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title=":)">
