These being none Vegan items only further, influences my resolve to stay the course. (Not that I fear getting type 1, but the realization of the possible negative effects animal products can have on one's well being)

Things about type 1 Diabetes (the kind where injections are often needed).

Some researchers believe that the autoimmune response is influenced by antibodies against cow's milk proteins.

Some suggest that vitamin D3 (one of several related chemicals with Vitamin D activity) may be an important pathogenic factor in type 1 diabetes independent of geographical latitude.

I put ground flax seeds on my cereal, but I only eat cereal maybe 3-4 times per week. I've been trying to find a good way to fit it into my diet on the days when I don't eat cereal. I was thinking of putting it in my pbj sandwiches that I take for lunch 2-3 times per week.

Thnaks for all you responses everyone...

I use 2 teaspoons of flaxseed oil a day and I put in in a tiny bit of orange juice or soy just so I dont have to taste it cause I hate it.. lol

Only started this 2 weeks ago.... Seems good.
