So has anyone seen this movie, and did anyone catch the subtle messages from it?

For example, the fish in the tank would say things like "fish aren't meant to be kept in a box [tank] like this, it starts doing stuff to ya." Or when they discussed how humans always think they are doing the right things, and the dentist who took little Nemo spoke of how he "saved him" when really they were trying there hardest to find a way out of the tank.

Did anyone else notice that? Do you think they were meaning to send a message? Cause all I know is that the people I saw the movie with didn't notice (but then again....I wouldn't expect them to...). By the way, I recommend EVERYONE see the movie, it seems childish but it is absolutely hilarious!

If the Jungle Book and Lady and the Tramp get A's...then Finding Nemo gets a C...

and yes I did notice what you mentioned but that wasn't enough to make up for a very predictable movie.

Nice graphics...but the story lacked...(my 6 six year old laughs easily and he did not laugh more than twice during this movie)

Also, the sharks were vegetarians (or at least trying to). This was a more obvious message. It was funny because I saw the movie with my nephew and when the sharks were having their fish eaters anonymous meeting, my nephew turned to me and said, "look Missy, they're just like you." I liked that.

I really liked it, I thought the messages were subtle, but there. But it is meant to be entertaining, and I found it very funny. I enjoy when a movie has a message, but honestly I also like to just enjoy a fun movie. I found it fun and cute and silly (but in a good way). I really enjoyed it.

I thought it was a really good movie. Now I will admit that it is not like the "disney classis" but it will be hard for them to ever make another movie that is. I thought it was really cute though and a good movie for the kiddies.
