Haha. I think my husband will disagree. I don't drink, but he does enjoy a nice pino grigio, or a nice pino noir as well.

For reds, I like a good pinot noir or a shiraz. Some of the zinfandels (not white zins, but true zins) are pretty good also. For whites, I like good oaky chardonnays and light, fruity pinots. Good French roses are nice, too--especially in the summer. I'm kind of a wine snob. For my law school graduation present this may, my husband is taking me to CA's wine country.
I love beaujolais--especially the beaujolais nouveau when it hits stores in the fall! It's so light--you can drink it with almost anything!

And don't forget that the only champagne is real French champagne, made in the Champagne region of France. Everything else is sparkling wine, although some cavas are pretty close to true champagne, largely because they, like real champagne, ferment in the bottle. Most other sparkling wines are artificially carbonated.![]()
