There is the suggestion of hunting and killing the shark, which is horrible to start with since the ocean is inarguably their territory so whenever a human enters the ocean they should realise that.<br><br>
What really got me though is this bit:<br>
"When fish stocks get depleted, sharks are coming closer to shores looking for food, just like any other fish, if they see food or an item they think is food, they go for it."<br><br>
And why do they think fish stocks are depleted? Perhaps we should point out that that is through human greed and idiocy and if they stopped fishing then the sharks would remain further from the shores. This really ticked me off.

****ing shark bigots. Poor guy is probably gonna get killed, like 98% of the other sharks in the past century. <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="/images/smilies/sad.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title=":(">

It's like killing a bear after it kills someone after the human got between her and her cubs. If I go walking around in lion territory and get eaten, that's entirely my fault. How do people not realize this?

Most sharks are a protected species in Oz so if they shoot them they will be in trouble.

That sucks that he was killed but any time humans enter the water we are in their territory. If people don't want to potentially become their prey they should stick to swimming pools.

Not if it's a proved menace to public health.

Aw, poor shark. How come its OK for the humans to eat anything they get their hands on, but a poor starving lil shark can't take a nibble of that human meat?<br><br><br>
(Although it does suck that the guy died, I'm not trying to make light of that)
