Here is his program:
http://jointhereboot.com/reboot-prog...boot-standard/

I don't think it would be very difficult to try out! It may open the door for me to go more raw.

It's on my to-watch list. Just haven't had the chance yet, and couldn't get a copy while I was in Japan. But I think netflix has it, so maybe I'll ask my mom to get it. What did you think of it?

I don't understand. Why is drinking juice better than eating fruit? Don't you lose the fiber when you juice?

it's true that you lose the fibre, but the vitamins content is so much higher than it would've been able to take in if you were eating the fruit whole (chewing up all of that produce and all). It's best to do both, IMO

It's on my list, haven't seen it yet. I do juice, though. Cucumber watermelon is my favorite.

^Yes! Juice watermelon with cucumber. Add a little agave if you want. It's delicious.

I prefer green smoothies simply for the fact that you just throw stuff in a blender and blend and it's easier to clean my blender than my juicer haha. I'm lazy.

Haha cleaning the juicer does suck. That's actually the only reason I don't juice everyday.

Here is a link to WHF(this site is GREAT for nutritional profiles on many healthy foods including details on health benefits)..anyway this section talks about juicing..mind you they are pro "whole food" but what they say makes sense..It doesnt sound like its a good idea to "rely" on juice or drink too much of it..especially the fruit ones..

http://whfoods.org/genpage.php?tname=george&dbid=192

I have also read in other places. Its important to drink the juice immediately..Sounds like it degrades pretty quickly after its exposed to the air.

I watched this on Netflix and although I was impressed with the results, I couldn't help but think that at least in part, it was a very cleverly disguised infomercial for Breville juicers.

That's exactly what I thought when I clicked on the link for the first time. (I was on my phone and it wouldn't let me watch the video, so all I could see was what appeared to be an ad).

As it turns out, I am in the market for a new juicer anyway. The one I am currently using doesn't belong to me.

It crossed my mind too.

I didn't end up being as inspired as I was immediately after that movie. I did not go buy a juicer, but perhaps will in the future.
I do love smoothies. I have at least 2 a day now. My favorites are: Green Smoothies- (with kale, pears, oj, ginger, and spinach) and an Apple Chai Almond Milk Smoothie.

I watched this last week on amazon instant video, it was free if you have prime. I thought it was good, so now i've been looking and reading reviews for juicers. I did notice they were all using the same juicer, lol!
I was annoyed with the part where I think it was a firearms shop keeper, felt the need to mention how his brother struggled all his live with vegetarianism and now has cancer so didnt see healthy eating as necessary...did they really need to put that in? Otherwise it was inspiring!

I saw the movie a while back. It was inspiring but I just can't see how a liquid diet even for a short time can be that good of a thing. The trucker guy really seemed to be suffering with hunger. It seems a waste of perfectly good veggies/fruit to just juice them. I want my fiber, lol. Seriously though the high fiber thing in conjuction with eating whole foods really seems to curb the hunger for me. I'd be miserable just juicing.
