Hi Everyone,

Over the past few days I've eaten quite a bit of junk food. I have no consumed any meat or anything, just junk food and I feel horrible. Sooo, I'm thinking about fasting tomorrow.

I can't just drink water, as my body would have a hissy-fit. So do you have any suggestions? Is there any juice that could help cleanse my body better than another? Or is there something else I should consume?

Suggestions....PLEASE

Honestly, fasting isn't going to do anything for you. It isn't going to "make up" for all the junk you ate. Try just eating healthy tomorrow with lots of fruits and veggies.

Wheatgrass is probably one of the most cleansing juices. It has a lot of chlorophyll which is excellent for detoxing. There are lots of other good detoxing juices too.

I did a juice fast a little over a month ago. Here is my thread and I posted what I drank:

Since you are only doing one day, it should be pretty easy. Water flushes out alot so make sure you get water in there too with the juice.

This is true. You can't 'make up' for what you already ate. But a one day liquid fast is an excellent way to give your body a break from digesting new solid food and a chance to catch up.

Thanks for the advice, especially the tip about the book. I don't fast often, and I realize that it won't 'make-up' for the junk that I ate. I just want to clear my system in order to start fresh on Monday :)
