The movie is fiction but the book is non-fiction. I liked the book but i've heard mostly negative things about the movie.

I only watched the beginning, and that was years ago, so i don't know how good it is but you might be interested in The Future of Food. It's on hulu if your in the US and it might still be free somewhere else on the internet too.

Can you go through the documentary section on Netflix? That's what I do.

I would definitely recommend reading the book, Fast Food Nation. Outstanding book.

I also vote for the book (then again, I work at a library so I'm biased
).
