I'll be going to the Chicago one again this year.

There are events set up throughout the United States and Canada (listed here: http://events.walkforfarmanimals.org...rive.eventList) that you just sign up for and meet up where ever the walk is going to take place on the day listed. The walk itself lasts for about an hour, rain or shine (in most places, anyways).

It looks like I might be getting a group of people together for the Chicago walk, which is pretty cool. I just went by myself last year. I'm also trying to look around at mascot costumes to rent. I wanted to do that last time but didn't (good thing too because it rained). So if anyone is going to the Chicago one, there might be a sheep or cow walking around.
