I already posted nearly the same in the news forum, but just realised this is a more appropriate place:

I might not agree with him killing animals, but this story has at least brought into open again that beef and pork are actually cow and pig, real living beings, not just packaged burger stuff that people don't even know where it comes from.

Does anybody have any idea on what to do to get more people to think about where meat comes from? If people were shown factory farms and slaughter houses, thousands would stop eating meat. Maybe some sort of 'advertising' in a newspaper next to a burger advertisement? Oh, I don't know. Or how can we get schools to start educating the kids about where food comes from? Any suggestions?
