i happened to see that on yahoo messenger they've got a new imvironment to do with milk and naturally i was intrieged until i realise it was for milk...! so i checked out their site,

http://www.whymilk.com/

and it's the biggest load of er....rubbish i think i've ever seen. a lot of you may have seen statistics etc especially vegans and i myself have done a lot of research, but who do they think they are trying to tell us that it's going to make people lose weight? that it's going tolower their blood pressure? when it causes all the things it claims it prevents, like oestoporisis and brittle bones. Crohn's disease and paratuberculosis...

http://www.veganoutreach.org/health/...-abridged.html

mad cow disease and other related diseases or conditions...

http://www.mad-cow.org/

stores of unsaturated fats and high levels of cholesetrol that actually increases blood pressure...

http://www.ivu.org/faq/eggsdairy.html

and so on. and if not anything else, the complete and utter inhumane processes that they hide behind their false facts and bent truths. do they realise they're promoting cruelty to animals? sometimes i think the world is completely topsy turvy.

sorry, i'm done now.

They probably made those claims about weight loss and lowered blood pressure based on calcium in milk. However, if there are no studies showing that calcium in milk form does those things, they have no right to say it. In fact, they are prevented from saying that milk actually prevents osteoporosis, bc there is no research showing that. So they say it "may" prevent osteoporosis.

Fish doesen't grow very well here in Norway. Chicken , however, does. That way, I don't have to worry about not getting enough c-vitamin.
