my niece was a couple weeks ago .... the kids in the car before her had vomitted all over the place and I guess they didn't get it cleaned out very well .... she said it was the smell that got her, not the ride ..... She rode again free (in a different seat) and had no problem.

As for me, no, but I experience very weird sensations awhile after I've been on a Ferris Wheel, log flume, or even an elevator (after I step out) for that matter. Not sick, just a weird sort of motion where it feels like my body is suddenly dropping through space, similar to that vivid and bizarre "kicking and tripping" feeling you get sometimes as you are falling asleep.

The Ferris Wheel, roller coaster, and log flume "aftershocks" sometimes don't "hit" until about six to eight hours later, usually when I am relaxed.

I haven't. I was really close the last time I went to Cedar Point.

When I was in high school I went to a carnival with two friends. They wanted to ride the Tilt-a-Whirl but I didn't have enough tickets. I asked them to wait but they didn't. Thank goodness, one of them through up on the ride.

I puked on the sea dragon which was like a huge viking ship that swings back and forth in a cresent shape movement. We were in the seat on the very end so when the ship when up I vomited on all the heads of the people in front of us. It was horrible. It got on about 12 people.

Oh yeah. I threw up all over the 'Salt & Pepper Shakers' at a local fair once. It sucks big time.

I LOVED that ride so much! I have never gotten sick on an amusement ride before, for which I am very thankful

I've never gotten sick on a ride, but once a whole bunch of us got a stomach virus on a school trip. I threw up in front of everyone at lunch, then again a few times on the walkway while trying to get to first aid. We filled up the Six Flags first aid station. They couldn't even get us all back to our bus in the park's ambulances. My mom (a chaperone--also sick) and I ended up riding through the employee's section (which was actually pretty neat) on a golf cart (not a smooth ride).

Once I was on a ride with my boyfriend and I looked over and he looked a little green. I saw what appeared to be him throwing up in his mouth and swallowing it. That grossed me out enough (in addition to the ride) to have to fight my own nausea , which fortunately did not end in vomiting.

I noticed as I got older, I was less able to tolerate spinning side to side. Rides like the zipper were still ok as a teen, but I stopped doing the tiltawhirl. Roller coasters are the safest for me now.

I have never felt sick beyond a feeling of "fullness" in my stomach. I am able to take even the most intense rides without feeling sick. There is this one roller coaster I went on that has 5.3G (the highest G-Force in the world for a roller coaster) and I lost my vision for a few seconds from my eyes being pressed into my head as I went up a loop.

I don't go on rides for just this reason. I am VERY prone to motion sickness. Granted, I'm nauscious all the time so I don't really need help with that! Even today at the hospital (I'm a social work intern) I was going up and down the elevators a lot, and they're REALLY FAST elevators I was getting really queasy... especially after lunch... especially when a lot of people are on and they stop on like, every floor (and behavioral health is 10th floor! AHH!), so it goes REALLY FAST for 3 seconds, the lurches to a stop, repeat a bunch of times. I often take the stairs down to avoid it.

No, but the rocking boat story reminded me of this one time we were on said ride and when our end went up this guy behind us shouted out "If you're gonna hurl do it now!" I found this amusing.

The last time I went to the Ex midway we went on that salt and pepper thingy and the guy running it was hitting on these two giggly 14 year olds in one of the other cars, and he kept it running for about three times as long as he was supposed to. It was unpleasant, and my last spinny ride. Too old I guess. I still like coasters though.

I have never thrown up on a ride. One time I felt a little bit queasy while riding the Witches' Wheel at Cedar Point, but nowhere near to vomiting. I love spinny rides.

I used to have a cast iron stomach when it came to rides. When I was 12, I went on a rollercoaster at a not so busy amusement park 14 times in a row without even getting off!

Last year I tried to do some crazy rides and felt a little ill...

I think I am getting old.

Yes, something happened to me between 8th and 9th grade. Up to 8th grade I could ride anything. I loved the zipper and the salt and Pepper ride. In the 9th grade was the unfortunate Sea Dragon incedent and I've never had the stomach for it since. I can still rides that turn like the Tilt-a-whorl or the octopis but nothing that goes upside down. Or bleh...............
