Good Evening Everyone and thank you for taking the time to help me.

Back in January (became a Vegan in May) I started an apparel company containing the word "Workhorse". Business was growing until I found out I was deploying. Since the company was new, I decided to put it on hold, gain as much knowledge as I can, and grow the brand internally until I return.

Now that I am Vegan and the company is on hold , I have been having a self battle with the term "Workhorse". What do you all think?

Thank you for your feedback and knowledge.

I am a "workman" and I take no insult to that. I choose to work though, so I see your point. When I think of a horse I think of running open and free. Not shackled, whipped and worked against it's will...Is there a way you can change the name? "Stronghorse" "Toughhorse" etc?

More importantly what material is used in making these items?

Thank you for the reply. Those are my thoughts as well on the name and what it represents. I use American Apparel. PETA recognizes AA as a Vegan friendly company. Average wage for their workers is $12 an hour with lots of benefits. A name change is the route I may have to take.

I would leave the horses out of it.
